Our Practice

In today's technology-driven society it seems that the trend is toward making everything more impersonal. Phone systems with automated menus and long hold times make it harder to bridge the gap between physicians and patients and make us all feel even more detached. We know our patients deserve better than that.

In addition to Dr. Clukies and Dr. Babbitt, Office Manager and Medical Assistant Patricia Cantin and Medical Assistant Meghann Gould round out the team at Plastic Surgery of Southern New England. While running the office and keeping everything on track, Pat and Meghann focus on making sure that as little as possible stands between you and your surgeon.

Here are some things that you can expect:

You can expect professional and responsive service that begins the moment of your first call.

You can expect that we will make every effort to schedule appointments as soon as possible.

You can expect to speak to a person when you call. During normal business hours your call will be answered right away by Pat or Meghann. In the rare case that you do need to leave a message expect a prompt call-back.

You can expect information. We will help you determine the kind of consultation you need and, if available, an estimate of the costs for the procedures you are interested in.

You can expect that your visit with Dr. Clukies or Dr. Babbitt will be relaxed, ensuring that you have a complete understanding of your many options and the specifics of your procedure. Our office hours and appointment lengths are designed to create an unhurried environment and we never double book.

You can expect your doctors to be there for you when you need them. Dr. Clukies and Dr. Babbitt are always on call for their own patients, and provide coverage for each other if one of them is away. Outside of normal office hours they can always be reached through their answering service for urgent issues.

If you or a loved one are considering plastic, reconstructive, or cosmetic surgery you are already aware that these decisions can be extremely challenging. There is a lot of information out there, and it can be hard at times to know where to turn. At Plastic Surgery of Southern New England, our surgeons and staff welcome the opportunity to help you in this process. Whether your goal is to improve your appearance through cosmetic procedures or to repair damage related to cancer, trauma or birth defects, we make your safety, comfort, and privacy our number one priority.
