This patient underwent facial reconstruction following Mohs surgery for skin cancer of the forehead. After the cancerous tissue was removed, reconstructive surgery was performed to close the surgical defect and restore the natural contour of the forehead.
Careful attention was given to incision placement and tissue movement to help preserve natural facial lines and minimize visible scarring as the area heals.
Procedure performed by Dr. Russell Babbitt, board-certified plastic surgeon, at Plastic Surgery of Southern New England in Fall River, Massachusetts.
